I bought this Matt for my English springer spaniel named Ella. She has been diagnosed with elbow and hip dysplasia and has difficulty lying on hard surfaces.I go to the pool for water aerobics and she normally lies down on two towels beside the pool. Since she’s been diagnosed with this disability, I bought this mat to give her comfort while she’s waiting for me. I put a towel down on top of it. And she is very comfortable for 45 minutes. It is easy to wind up and take with me and Store in the car.

We were using a half-inch mat for floor exercises, and it was getting rather compressed in key spots. This one-inch mat is much cushier. Our knees and wrists are especially appreciative.Haven’t had long enough to comment on durability, but it looks well made. No problems with slipping. Only drawback is the space it takes up, but the tradeoff with with comfort is well worth it.

This mat is the best I have owned. I work out with a trainer 3 days a week and we use this mat for most of the workout. It has stood the brutal wear and tear that we have done to it. The thickness is great and I just gave him a second one even though he did not need it as the first one is still going strong!
