This comes curled up tightly. While it lies flat on the floor, I can’t get the curl out completely when hanging it on the wall. And I’ve tried weighting it on the floor to reset its “memory etc.

I went through all the bs “thick” cushioned Mats that were 6mm yoga mats looking for a workout mat to do on my hardwood floors, my joints would feel everything!! This is the only mat that stays put, has enough cushion, and stores away perfectly that I have found, no sliding around like other “thick” mats. Perfect for hard floors on those tender joints. Well priced .

I don’t know about durability yet. I’ve only used this mat for a few weeks. But, I bought the 5/8″ thickness and am very pleased with the comfort and protection from hard surfaces it provides my bulky but creaky older body. The only drawback I can see, thus far, is that it has yet to “relax” enough to lie completely flat on the floor.

UPDATE : I contacted the manufacturer directly and they sent a replacement mat of the original better quality.My whole reason for buying this specific(higher priced!) mat again was the material and the length. My first mat was the kind of hard rubber I’d seen in other studios that doesn’t keep the curve after being rolled and was long enough for my taller clients. This mat is made of a material that’s closer to other thick mats and keeps the curve after being taken out of the packaging(it will prob lose the curve once hung for a while but the other mat did not need to do this) This is also clearly not 71” ! The first mat had nice clean edges, this one looks like it was hand cut and jagged. I’m very disappointed in the drop in quality from this manufacturer. It will serve it’s purpose as a thick mat but totally missed the mark on meeting expectations.

I really do like it, I like how long it is but mine came super rolled up that I need to put weights at both ends to prevent the ends from rolling up. Be mindful of that, other than that, there’s no other complaints.

We use these on concrete and they cushion well. Time will tell how they hold up. Happy
